Thursday - Students should spend 15 minutes finishing up their Great Depression projects.  Then begin reading chapter 34 on World War II.

Friday - Students should continue to read chapter 34 and answer the study questions below.

The Great Depression


So - today we are going to go over the multiple choice answers, and then I'm going to break you up into groups to discuss the following topics.  You job is to make an outline to present to the class:

1) The causes of the Depression and Herbert Hoover
2) FDR and the 1st New Deal
3) The 2nd New Deal
4) FDR's critics
5) The end of the Depression

If we have time, I will give you some notes on World War II (or WWII).  Tomorrow we will start WWII.  Please bring your textbooks.
